How DVA funding works

Veteran Home Care and DVA community nursing are funded by the Department of Veterans' Affairs for eligible veterans. Home care usually starts with a DVA assessment, and community nursing needs a referral from your GP or hospital. Call us and we'll walk you through the steps.

How it works

Getting started is simple.

  1. We listen

Tell us what you need and what matters to you, and we'll set a meeting with our service delivery manager.

  3. Meet your team

We begin slowly introducing you to your conscientious team that you can trust and depend on.

Yes. DVA community nursing needs a referral from your GP, a specialist or a hospital. It's available to Gold Card holders, and to White Card holders for conditions DVA covers. Ask us and we'll explain the next steps.
Can my family arrange support for me?
Yes. Family members are welcome to call us on your behalf, and we'll keep them involved if you'd like us to.
Which areas do you cover?
We support veterans across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Moreton Bay, from our office in Indooroopilly.
Can I keep the same carers?
We introduce you to your team before support starts and keep the same faces wherever we can, so you always know who is coming.
